I understand being busy but I don’t understand the complete lack of customer service displayed by every employee we interacted with. Needless to say, being dismissed from a place we are actively trying to give our money too was infuriating. This waitress came off completely annoyed and said “well if you can find a seat (there were no open seats) just sit down and one of us will get to you eventually” and walked away before I could ask what we do if there is no open seats. We went back outside, still a little lost, and asked a waitress for help. When the bartender finally got to us, we were told we cannot order food at the bar and we needed to go outside (where we originally were). There was only one bartender and we didn’t even get acknowledged yet again for 20 more minutes. But, we stood out on the patio for 15 minutes, confused as to where to go to order food and not one single employee even recognized our existence.Īnnoyed but still understanding due to the crowd, my husband and I went to the bar. It was very busy which is understandable. Patty’s day and had the WORST customer service experience.

Even with how nice the manager was and how good the margaritas were, I will never be back to this restaurant. I love trying new happy hours and I feel like Fitzgerald went out of his way to make our experience miserable. Between all of this we were there 3 hours total. The table next to us waited 30min for him to give them a straw then ended up having to ask another waiter for straws for their drinks. She also mentioned that this was not the first complaint this evening about Fitzgerald. The manager was apologetic and was easily able to split our checks up but didn’t comp anything. He didn’t put any of our items on happy hour although we ordered everything well before 7. I actually had to laugh out loud at that because he was being so blatantly petty. Then the woman he had been rude to all night asked for boxes and he handed another woman her box and handed the woman he had been rude to the check for the entire table. For some reason he said he couldn’t split the checks so it was all on one. The plates he gave us were dirty so we couldn’t use 2 of them. Then took so long to come back to our table with plates that all the ice cream melted. The fried food tasted like straight grease. When she asked a question he already answered to another person at the table (she didn’t hear when the other person asked) he rudely said “as I said before.” The margaritas were great though. It’s almost like he specifically picked her to be rude to. He was extremely rude to one of our guest at the table. The server never gave us refills or cleared the table of old dishes/ plates. I guess they were also out of sliders so instead of letting us know they cut one burger into 4 peices. One of the appetizers we ordered, I guess they were out of and he never told us it just never arrived at our table. By the time we got them 2 of them were cold. He held all appetizers to come out at the same time. The waiter didn’t greet me or tell me his name. I was meeting my mom and her friends for happy hour and I arrived a little after the party was already seated.
